Why GBT?! Most biofilm is invisible to the naked eye! We must disclose the oral biofilm (bacteria causing plaque) to reveal where it harbors. Let's talk colors and what they mean:
Pink = new bacteria, less than 24 hrs.
Purple = mature bacteria, that has been on teeth for more than 48 hrs.
Blue = acidic bacteria, increasing risk for cavities and gingivitis.
